Arrival & Transfer to Pousada Aguape (Giant Anteater Tracking)
Morning welcome by your expert naturalist guide at Campo Grande airport. Drive to Pousada Aguape and check in. In the evening, set out to track Giant Anteaters across the savannah. Conclude with an evening photo session with your skipper before dinner.
Morning Birding, Drive to Jardim & Macaw Sinkhole
Explore the bird-rich grounds of Pousada Aguape in the morning light. Drive 3 hours to Jardim for an afternoon photography session capturing colorful Macaws at the famous natural sinkhole. Overnight in Jardim.
Morning Sinkhole, Optional River Float & Fly to Cuiabá
Return to the sinkhole for golden-hour photography. Option to take a 4 km floating/snorkeling tour on the crystal-clear Rio da Prata. Drive to Campo Grande and catch a flight to Cuiabá (or overnight stay depending on flight schedules).
Transfer to the Transpantaneira & Tapir Search
Drive from Cuiabá onto the legendary Transpantaneira highway. Check in to Piuval Lodge, known for rich wildlife opportunities. Spend the afternoon searching for Tapirs, birds, and reptiles.
Full Day Transpantaneira & Pixaim River Exploration
Short transfer to a riverfront lodge by the Pixaim River. Spend the entire day exploring the surrounding wilderness for Toco Toucans, Hyacinth Macaws, Anacondas, Kingfishers, and Jabiru Storks.
Drive to Porto Jofre & Maiden Jaguar Boat Safari
Early morning photo session for Toucans and Macaws. After breakfast, drive 3 hours to Porto Jofre and board a safari boat to reach your floating hotel (floatel) deep in Jaguar country. Set out on your first afternoon speedboat safari looking for Jaguars.
Full Days of Jaguar & Wildlife Boat Safaris
Four full days dedicated to morning and afternoon boat safaris along the Cuiabá River tributaries. Focus on tracking Jaguars, Giant Otters, Caimans, Capybaras, and prolific birdlife. Enjoy informative photography workshops each evening followed by a buffet dinner on the floatel.
Return Transfer to Cuiabá & Departure
Enjoy a leisurely final breakfast on the floatel before returning to Porto Jofre. Transfer by bus back to Cuiabá airport for your onward connections via São Paulo, carrying incredible memories and images.
